We are now looking for an experienced Camera Truck Operator to join our team based out of the Plymouth, MI, area perfroming lateral and cross bore camera inspections.

Please note: This is not a CCTV surveillance job.

We are also offering a one-time $1,500 milestone bonus for all field new employees paid out in two (2) increments over the first 12 months!

What You Will Do:

Our crews are the true backbone of our company. As a Camera Truck Operator, you are responsible for closed caption television monitoring of robotic remote camera tractors or push cameras in sewer and storm lines and performing lateral and cross bore inspections. This includes overseeing the work of the field technicians, setting-up camera equipment to specific size of jobs, insertion and removal of cameras from various sewer and drain lines, assessing pipe conditions and recording in digitally formatted videos.

• Are at least 21 years old
• Have a valid driver's license with clean MVR record
• Willing to undergo a background/MVR check, drug screen and DOT physical
• Willing to travel up to 75% as needed (in/out of state)
• Have at least 6 months of experience operating Camera Trucks for cross bore inspections
• Solid understanding of the CCTV camera truck operations to include lateral launch operations
• Knowledge of robotic CCTV equipment and lateral launch systems - IBAK experience is plus!
• Have strong technical skills (i.e., use of computers, operating CCTV camera software and equipment, reading maps, locating manholes, taking digital recordings)
• NASSCO PACP certified or willingness to become PACP certified
• Are able and willing to perform other duties as needed, i.e., perform the duties of a Field Services Technician
• Are comfortable working outside in all weather conditions around water/wastewater pipelines and chemicals, manholes, confined spaces, lifting up to 65 lbs as needed
• Have strong interpersonal skills and like working as part of a team
• Will abide by all safety procedures and policies, including wearing required PPE for your safety.
